All Quiet On The Straight Up Front - A Straight Up update
We have a bit of a break...next scheduled gig is March 20th at Bogey's in Clifton NJ. During this time we would like to learn some new tunes and write some new ones as well...so next time you catch us you might say "hey there's a new one"!
We performed for the children and staff at St. Agatha's in Nanuet NY last week. We had a good time and I think the kids liked us. Some very cool people there (including the adults)...Larry became an "uncle" for the umpteenth time, making new friends and promising (or threatening) to come back and ride the horses! It was a humbling and enriching experience...count your blessings people; say a prayer every now and then, and even more importantly: commit some kindness.
Our Southbound (Valhalla NY) gig was fun...the food and ambience is excellent...nice owners, staff and clientele...you like BBQ? Check it out!
I believe we will have some new pictures from our Turning Point gig coming up soon...so please come back and check for 'em...and we hope to be back at that esteemed venue in the near future.

Mmmmmmmm, something smells good: Bar-B-Que and Blues this Friday, Feb. 20th @ Southbound Bar-B-Que, Valhalla NY 10pm!
OK, OK, call me partial...I just happen to think that Barbecue and Blues is kinda' like Muddy and Walter...Ruth and Gehrig...ying and yang...Laurel and Hardy...Cotton and Spann...Bogart and McCall...or Starsky and Hutch (sorry 'bout that, got carried away there for a second)...but hey, speaking of the Bambino:
